Biblical Insight:
Tell the truth. It is one of the ten commandments from God’s directions in Exodus 20 on how to worship and live with Him. The first thing the serpent ever did was lie (Genesis 3:5). Jesus called the devil the father of lies. Lies can feel harmless or like an easy way out, but when we lie, the enemy is involved. When the enemy is involved much more gets harmed than just the truth. Telling the truth however is how we can abide within God’s way of life; telling the truth is rightful worship of God.
