Biblical Insight:
In the book of Ephesians Paul takes 3 chapters to tell the Christians in Ephesus what God has done for them, and who Jesus has made them to be. He explains how they have become people perfect for God’s purpose, the very children of God (Ephesians 1:3-10). Finally in Chapter 4 Paul tells them to walk therefore in a manner worthy of who they have been called to be; he goes on to explain what that looks like (Ephesians 4:1). Oftentimes bullies are not living in a worthy manner because they do not believe who God has made them to be. Affirming one’s value and identity leads to right behavior.
Additional Scripture: Colossians 1:10
