There's a new robot on the block ... In this lesson, Dave and Boris explore diversity and how to enlarge our perspective and empathize with others, even when those robots look different from our robots.
Materials Required: pencil, paper, and scissors (colored pencils, markers, and craft items optional)
This lesson cross references the SEL Core Competency: 'Social-Awareness.' It helps children take others' perspectives. In the episode Dave teaches Boris to identify diverse social norms and how diversity is beautiful and natural. The lesson shows children to recognize strengths in others.
