Biblical Insight:
God’s people grow. Jesus compares us to soil that yields a harvest (Matthew 13). Isaiah tells us that God’s voice is that seed that grows us into the people of His will (Isaiah 55). Paul tells us we are being transformed (2 Corinthians 3:18). This growing means change will be normal to us as Christians. Change happens. Change can be uncomfortable or hard; even a tree goes through bitter changes in winter. But we know that all change will work together for our good and winters bring about beautiful springtimes (Romans 8:28).
