When Robots Fly
Boris doesn't have any wings... Dave and Boris explore how to focus on and employ personal strengths as a form of overcoming perceived self-weakness and a depression that might ensue from a hyper focus on individual failings. Boris learns to love his strengths even while coming to terms with the fact that he cannot fly.

This lesson cross references the SEL Core Competency: 'Self-Awareness' from the CASEL 5. It teaches children to identify one's emotions, and understand how to link feelings, values, and thoughts. The episode shows an adult (Dave) modeling honesty and vulnerability. Ultimately the lesson encourages and educates children on how to develop a growth mindset.
