Biblical Insight:
Peace in the midst of stress - how did Jesus teach us to throw our worries away? His solution is “seek first the Kingdom and the needs of life will follow” (Matthew 6:33). This is Jesus’s advice for prioritizing. Put the Kingdom (God’s will and reign) first and let all other aspects of our life follow that priority. When the Kingdom is first, family, personal well-being, and school will all be in place to help serve God’s will. Peace in our life is often a bi-product of prioritizing the Kingdom above all. Like Ben and the kids explain in this episode - Big Rocks go first; the rest will follow - peace too.
