Biblical Insight:
Anger does not have to control you. There is good news, as Paul tell us in Romans 8: you do not have to be a slave of anger anymore! Under sin anger and other things like it had a hold over us. Under sin when Paul wanted to do good and not evil, he did not have any power to do so (Romans 7:19-20). But now under Christ Paul and all Christians can have the self control necessary to subdue anger (Romans 8:2). Anger is now a sin, but letting it master you is. We can now use different self control techniques to stay on top of anger.
