Biblical Insight:
The Bible tells us “Let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely” (Hebrews 12:1). Or as Boris says, “Don’t Hold On to What’s Wrong!” Arguments, frustrations, and bitterness are like weights that pull our heart down. The way to getting rid of these weights is not to decide which party was right in the argument, but to reconcile the relationship. In the Sermon on the Mount Jesus tells us if someone has a problem with you, you should go make it right before you worship (Matthew 5:23-24). This means you might be right; it might be their problem not yours. Still, making it right will reduce the weight. Don’t Hold On!
Additional Scripture: Mark 11:25
