Biblical Insight:
In the Parable of the Sower, Jesus teaches us that our hearts are like soil. The words spoken into our hearts grow (Matthew 13:18-23). This is why Luke 2:19 says Mary, the mother of Jesus, kept all these things and pondered them in her heart. She had to steward the words of the angel in her heart as she raised Jesus. Sometimes we hear unkind words and let them grow weeds in our hearts. In this episode Dave and Boris help students practice pondering hopeful words in their heart and throwing out the words that don’t grow fruit.
